Dr. Gard Lorey
P. Gard Lorey, D.D.S. - Emeritus
Dr. P. Gard Lorey practiced as a family and cosmetic dentist in Skaneateles, New York since 1985 until he retired in 2019. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He received his certification in orthodontics from the United States Dental Institute.
Dr. Lorey is a Fellow of the World Congress of Microdentistry. He holds professional memberships with the Fifth District Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Association for Functional Orthodontics, the Onondaga County Dental Society, the Cayuga County Dental Society, and the Syracuse Dental Study Club.
He volunteers with the Medical Mission of Miracles in El Salvador. He has traveled to remote villages providing much needed dental care for the people of El Salvador who don't have access to it six times since 2004. Dr. Lorey has also established and helped sponsor a program through the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York to provide monthly dental care for the remote villages by an El Salvadorian dentist. Dr. Lorey has also traveled to Honduras with a medical group through the Red Cross to provide dental care for the people there.
